Conference will also see finalists of Pistoia Alliance President’s Startup Challenge Announced
Wilmington, DE, 7th September 2015 – The Pistoia Alliance has confirmed the final line up for its USA conference, which is taking place in Philadelphia on 13th October. During the conference the finalists for the Pistoia Alliance President’s Startup Challenge 2015 will be announced.
In addition to hearing about the latest plans and projects from the Pistoia Alliance, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in innovation-focused panel discussions involving a wide range of life science experts from both within and beyond the pharmaceutical industry. Panelists include high-profile individuals from companies such as Roche, Janssen, Gilead, PwC, and General Mills. Updates will also be given on current Pistoia Alliance projects including HELM, the CSCS Expert Community, Ontologies Mapping, and the Map of Alliances.
A highlight of the afternoon session will be the announcement of the finalists of the Pistoia Alliance President’s Startup Challenge 2015, a business plan contest that has seeks to encourage entrepreneurs to develop innovative new solutions to current challenges in life science R&D. The top-ranked entries will go through as finalists to the second round, and the winner will be announced in February 2015.
