Our Controlled Substances Compliance Services (CSCS) project has made it significantly easier for life science companies to comply with controlled substance legislation by establishing an expert community to interpret the often-ambiguous rules.
Our new online Interactive Project Portfolio Platform (IP3) has been launched in order to encourage the entire life sciences research community to generate and share new, innovative ideas and drive the creation of novel, collaborative solutions.
The July 2014 edition of the Pistoia Alliance newsletter, Innovation in Action, is available to download as a PDF document.
The Pistoia Alliance and quattro research are pleased to announce the release of an extension to the HELM biomolecular representation standard.
Lowering Barriers to R&D Innovation
We are a global, not-for-profit alliance of life science companies, vendors, publishers, and academic groups that work together to lower barriers to innovation in R&D.
Our projects transform R&D innovation through pre-competitive collaboration. We bring together the key constituents to identify the root causes that lead to R&D inefficiencies. We develop best practices and technology pilots to overcome common obstacles.
Our members collaborate as equals on open projects that generate significant value for the worldwide life sciences community.
With the launch of our Interactive Project Portfolio Platform (IP3) we are embracing a new level of openness, access, and transparency around our idea-to-project process. The platform is open to the public to submit new ideas, comment and vote on proposed ideas, and monitor the progress of our projects.
Healthcare is officially joining the big data club. With the advent of high-throughput genomics, life scientists are starting to grapple with massive data sets, encountering challenges with handling, processing and moving information that were once the domain of astronomers and physicists.
The presentation and recording from the "Sequence Analysis in the Regulated Domain" Pistoia Alliance Debates webinar held on Tuesday 20th September 2016 are available here.
