This achievement demonstrates how Pistoia Alliance membership drives growth through collaboration. Scitegrity Director Joe Bradley said: “We are extremely honoured to receive this award in recognition of the years of hard work and dedication by our small, tight knit team. When we first started working with the Pistoia Alliance on a project to identify controlled substances in large chemical libraries, it wasn’t clear whether what we planned was technically feasible. However, our Controlled Substances Squared software is now used by 5 of the world’s top 10 pharmaceutical companies and dozens of other research organizations around the world. Working with the Pistoia Alliance and pharmaceutical companies early on was crucial to this success. I’m incredibly proud of my team and all that they have achieved over the last 10 years.” ![]() PROJECTS & COMMUNITIES New FAIR Business Survey ReportFrom Research and Beyond: The Biggest Business Drivers of Life Science FAIR Initiatives Our FAIR for Business Working Group has undertaken an extensive survey to assess the impact of FAIR data in life science companies. Our new report examines the biggest business drivers for implementing FAIR data principles and key outcomes being delivered. Pharmaceutical companies are applying FAIR in research, and are also extending into development, clinical, and operational functions. FAIR initiatives that started five or more years ago are now delivering tangible improvements in data management processes and enhanced operational efficiency. Thanks to all our members who contributed to this important research. Read the report here. To get involved in our FAIR initiatives contact: giovanni.nisato@pistoiaalliance.org. Pistoia Alliance contributes to FDA Draft Guidance on AI One of the many benefits of being part of the Pistoia Alliance is the opportunity to help shape regulations. Our AI community members have worked together to submit comprehensive feedback to the FDA Draft Guidance on AI which includes guidance on benchmarking of models, the requirement for an AI/ML management system, the use of FAIR data and the inclusion of additional standards. You can read our feedback which has been published by the FDA here. Life Science Informatics Forum Our Life Science Informatics Forum, sponsored by ZS Associates and Zifo and guided by our expert steering committees, is a global forum with in-person meetings in the UK, Europe and the USA.
