If life science and healthcare R&D is to take advantage of the data tsunami then a greater understanding of how to manage data in a systematic and strategic way is fundamental.
Data governance is essential to enable digital transformation and to advance innovation. For example, one way to lower barriers to R&D is to exploit the contemporary technologies of AI/ML and NLP. To use these tools effectively data needs to be machine actionable and machine ready. Clear data management and strategic vision and oversight of the data are required to enable this.
What will the project achieve?
This growing community has already attracted over 30 companies and brings together key opinion leaders to identify best practices, common obstacles, and potential solutions. If you are involved in data collection, understanding, interpretation, and development—you’re welcome to get involved!
