The Pistoia Alliance is committed to supporting informatics and technology focused startups aiming to impact the way life science R&D is performed.
We are looking to the startup community to bring their innovative solutions to the attention of our industry members through the 5th President’s Series Startup Challenge.
Entries were (entries now closed) welcomed from startups who are transforming life-science and healthcare R&D through:
- Informatics based solutions
- Digital health focused offerings
- Emerging technologies or science

How it works
After all entries are submitted online, a set of judges from the Pistoia Alliance membership and associated industry experts review the entries. Based on the judges scoring, 5 startups are selected and invited to our US conference in Boston on October 23 to:
- Participate in our startup support day to receive feedback from an expert panel made up of big pharma, consultancies, startups and investors.
- Pitch at our conference to win the main prizes
All finalists win $5000 and pitch their offering to our audience at our US conference. The 2 Winners receive $20,000 and 6 months mentorship from one of our members.
