The Pistoia Alliance Controlled Substance Compliance Services Project Successfully Passes the First Phase of Industry Testing
Controlled Substance legislation is complex and ever changing. As such, it requires on-going and detailed interpretation to identify those compounds that are within scope of regional and international laws.
EMBL-EBI is collaborating with the Pistoia Alliance, a precompetitive leader in the life-sciences industry, to help improve data resources for the study of pharmaceutically relevant molecules.
The tranSMART Foundation Announces New Version of the tranSMART Open Source Data Sharing Platform for the Life Sciences Community
The tranSMART Foundation, a non-profit organization providing a global, open-source knowledge management platform for scientists to share their pre-competitive data, today announced the release of tranSMART version 1.1.
Lowering Barriers to R&D Innovation
We are a global, not-for-profit alliance of life science companies, vendors, publishers, and academic groups that work together to lower barriers to innovation in R&D.
Our projects transform R&D innovation through pre-competitive collaboration. We bring together the key constituents to identify the root causes that lead to R&D inefficiencies. We develop best practices and technology pilots to overcome common obstacles.
Our members collaborate as equals on open projects that generate significant value for the worldwide life sciences community.
With the launch of our Interactive Project Portfolio Platform (IP3) we are embracing a new level of openness, access, and transparency around our idea-to-project process. The platform is open to the public to submit new ideas, comment and vote on proposed ideas, and monitor the progress of our projects.
The presentation and recording from "The PhUSE Framework for the Adoption of Cloud Technology in the Regulated Life Science" Pistoia Alliance Debates webinar held on Tuesday 12th July 2016 are available here.
Contest will see startup companies compete to develop new ways to improve innovation in life sciences R&D.
